Above Ground Pool Installation

At Patio Pleasures you can trust in our team to be sure your above ground pool is installed properly.

The first step is to survey the pool site you have chosen. Based on the selected area, measurements will be taken. This determines the approximate amount of excavation that will be necessary. The installer will notify you on removal of any objects that may cause difficulty during or after the installation process (such as rocks, trees or roots). You will also be notified if the routing of electricity to the filter and/or heater is needed.

Step 1: Site Survey

The first step is to survey the pool site you have chosen. Based on the selected area, measurements will be taken. This determines the approximate amount of excavation that will be necessary. The installer will notify you on removal of any objects that may cause difficulty during or after the installation process (such as rocks, trees or roots). You will also be notified if the routing of electricity to the filter and/or heater is needed.

Step 2: Preparation

In order to ensure that your pool will have a secure base, the site may have to be graded. This is very common even with an area that appears to be flat. During this step, obstructions will be removed and replaced. When done, a layer of mason sand will be laid to keep the pool liner from tearing or wrinkling.

Step 3: Pool Construction

The frame of the pool will be assembled and made certain that it is structurally sound. The liner will be secured so the pool can be filled. Depending on the pool location the pool can be filled with a garden hose or for an extra charge a water truck can deliver water.

Disclaimer: Weather plays a major role in pool installation. Warm weather is needed in order to properly stretch the pool liner. Weather may effect the amount of time needed to complete the installation process.

Step 4: Electrical

When the pool has been filled, we will connect the filter and/or heater to the pool. At this time, it will need to be connected to either a temporary or permanent power source. Extension cords are not recommended. Patio Pleasures has a certified electrician on staff to assist with all electrical needs.
